Argent Related, the developer behind King’s Cross regeneration project, has bagged a £1 bn contract to regenerate Tottenham Hale.

For Haringey Council the strategic partnership with Argent Related is the next step in a very ambitious regeneration scheme in Tottenham which aims to turn the area into London’s next great affordable neighbourhood.

Argent Related and its business partner Hermes already own the Ferry Island Retail Park and Tottenham Hale Retail Park. These areas will be redeveloped together with other sites marked for regeneration that Argent will buy from the council according to the agreement.

During the initial phase of the scheme over 600 new houses will be built on the acquired sites. The money raised from the sale of the publicly owned sites will be spent by the council on funding affordable homes.

The proposed residential quarter will include affordable and open market homes to rent and buy, healthcare, education and cultural facilities to support a growing community.
