City of Sydney is calling for artists to help brighten construction sites
You can’t get much better exposure than by exhibiting your work in the street. City of Sydney is calling for visual artists to submit their work to be exhibited on hoardings throughout the city.
To be clear, hoardings are the temporary board fences erected around construction sites – perfect supports for large-scale photos! Often left bare or plastered with advertisements, the City of Sydney initiative aims to make the streets more vibrant and support local artists.
The hoardings vary in size but can be as large as 2.4 metres tall. So have a look in your photography archive for work that you think would make Sydney’s streets sing.
The callout is open to artists, designers and small collectives of a maximum of five members.
