Link’s ‘Dunbeg Development Corridor Masterplan’ of 600 new homes has been approved by Argyll and Bute Council.
The Masterplan seeks to transform the Dunbeg Corridor area into a family orientated, vibrant and sustainable rural place where people will choose to live, work and visit and which is at one with its greatest assets of stunning landscape and heritage.
Link, in partnership with its subsidiary West Highland Housing Association, has already completed the first 75 affordable homes on the site, including 50 intermediate rent-to-buy properties, and 25 social rent homes.
Through developing the Masterplan, a unique opportunity exists to create a Gateway to Oban and the Isles.
Delivering a mix of houses for sale and rent, it will seek to be the catalyst for shops, cafes, community uses and commercial activity.
The development is designed to enhance the existing network of walking and cycle tracks in the area.

Link will continue to collaborate successfully with its strategic partners including the Scottish Government, Argyll & Bute Council, and Scottish Water as well as working with the local communities of Dunbeg and Ganavan to create a place that focuses on community and enhances the rich, rural environment.”
